I was born and raised in Woodside, NY. I am second oldest of 7 children. I have one son, Michael, who lives in New York. I worked in Manhattan for almost 20 years before moving to Venice FL in 1990. There I met and worked for Dr. Selina. We relocated to York, PA in the fall of 1991, when Dr. Kevin and she opened the office in the front building. I have been under chiropractic care for 45 years.
I am the new patient manager and x-ray technician. I enjoy reading, crocheting, watching old movies and archery.
Hi. My name is Angelina Messina-Lanehart but most people call me Angie. I was born and raised in York, Pa. Both my parents were born in Sicily. I graduated from York Catholic High School. In tenth grade I got my first job at Sigafoose and Jackson Chiropractic at the young age of 16. I fell in love with chiropractic. After graduating from high school, I decided to pursue chiropractic. My chiropractic studies were put on hold to start a family. I have 2 amazing sons, Eli, 17 and Jacob, 14 and a half. Besides working at Sigafoose and Jackson, I also teach a spin class two times a week at Unique Physique. During my free time I enjoy playing guitar, singing, bike riding, shopping, art, breweries, and family time.
I was born in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. At age 4 my parents moved my sister and I to York, PA. In school I was involved in track and soccer, but my main sport was Synchronized Swimming. I swam for 13 years (into college) where we placed nationally. I spent the next 10 years or so moving around the country until settling back down in York and marrying, my now husband, in 2014.
I also work a second job teaching children and adults how to swim; a life-saving skill, and something I have been very dedicated to for many years. I am not bored, as I am also in school studying to become a Homeopathic Practitioner. This is definitely my newest passion. Other than swimming I love nature and the outdoors. Gardening, hiking, and anything around water, is how I try to spend my extra time. I do feel most alive when I travel and when I get to experience different places, which I plan on doing for as long as life allows me to.
